IT Support Executive - Contract - London Bridge - Mac
PTS' client are seeking an IT Support Executive to join their team. The post holder will be responsible for high levels of systems and desktop support, service and helpdesk activities. They will also look to work with the IT Manager to improve and maintain the IT function within the businesses.
Key Accountabilities - IT Executive
- Strong platform knowledge and at least one of their information and desktop solutions, for example Microsoft Office, Microsoft SharePoint, CRM and so on with practical experience of problem solving and applying knowledge in the workplace.
- Mac support experience is esstential
- Providing 1st line support to users, either face-to-face, through the telephone or via remote access
- Troubleshooting of 1st line hardware, software and/or network issues
- Provide basic user support for smartphones and other hand held business devices.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications across a network
Maintain appropriate work logs of calls undertaken including resolution detail and time spent. - Helping the IT Manager achieve a quick turnaround on support issues.
Continually work on developing own knowledge and skills and keep up to date with the changes in industry technologies. - Maintaining strong relationships within the organisation
- Create images for new hardware platforms as well as attending software updates to existing images
- Follow documented processes to set up network accounts, access, permissions and hardware for new starters
Candidate requirements;
- Graduate and ACA qualified (Big 4 background preferred)
- Minimum of one years' relevant experience
- Confident user of Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Mac support experience
- Work to best practice standards.
- Confident and articulate presenter.
