Managed File Transfer Coordinator (Windows, Unix, z/OS)

We are looking for a Managed File Transfer Coordinator to be responsible of file transfers in all supported environments and platforms (Solaris, AIX, z/OS, WSP, WGS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux and AS400) within a major bank based in Zurich.

Your tasks:
  • Implementation, modification and deletion of file transfers in all environments according to the information provided in the corresponding MFT (Managed File Transfer) Service Request and the "Best Practice" standard templates.
  • Check up on the information provided in the Service Requests
  • Initiation of the relevant process and tracking of the SW component managers.
  • Support of customers regarding Service Requests and Managed File Transfer in general.
  • Incident and problem handling regarding file transfers definition in all environments.


Your experience/skills:
  • Knowledge of z/OS, Unix and/or Windows
  • Minimum 3 years experience in IT
  • All round knowledge in databases, mainframe, networking & file transfer, IT security
  • Very good communication skills - ability to work with clients and the team
  • Analytical skills, ability to set priorities, interconnected thinking
  • ECDL degree beneficial
  • English and German fluent


Duration: 6 months++
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
