Financial Analyst
Description:
Daily responsibilities:
-Conducting analysis as part of the roll-out of a new Budgeting system
-Reconciling financial data in budget systems
-Creating financial reports for use during the annual budget cycle
-Providing support to the Project Manager, and directly to financial planners using the Budgeting system
-Manages and analyzes monetary resources and affairs within an organization.
-Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of internal clients.
-May also be responsible for conducting technical accounting research as needed.
-Prepares and maintains supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
-Updates and collects business unit reporting packages, helps prepare ad hoc financial reporting as necessary.
Requirements:
-Financial analysis and problem solving
-Ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-3 to 5 years of direct relevant experience
-BA in Finance or Accounting
