Description
Job Description/Responsibilities:- Engage Customer product groups to develop a deep understanding of their needs and priorities for engineering support.
- Scope and prioritize the opportunities and work with global design services engineering teams to provide suitable solutions.
- Facilitate collaboration across teams appropriately.
- Regular governance reviews with product groups to ensure we are meeting/exceeding their expectations.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.
- Team player and detail oriented.
- Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
- Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field.
- Bachelor degree preferred but will accept candidates with no degree and minimum of 12 years of Engineering experience.
- Understanding of competitive landscape and formulating differentiated solutions that leverage the global teams that deliver higher value to our product groups.
- At least 10 years of experience in such a role.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with global engineering teams.
- Experience with Engines and Machines businesses of Customer.
- Existing Network with Customer decision makers in engineering roles preferred.
- Potential travel.
