CDL STRATA Insurance Applications Support Analyst required for an exciting year long contract job opportunity working at one of Milton Keynes best businesses. Naturally you need to be an excellent Applications Support specialist with a solid track record working with CDL/STRATA within an insurance environment. It is essential that you have experience working in an Application Support role in the Insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities
Implement and Maintain system configuration in line with the change management process and business requirements.
Ensure the ownership, expediting and timely resolution of all incidents, problems and requests relating to the systems and operations to the reported satisfaction of the relevant business area.
Maintain expertise in business needs, support processes and system landscapes in order to optimise dialogue between the business and the system providers to maximise cost and time benefit of changes and problem resolutions.
Proactively monitoring system providers' performance and progress against agreed SLAs and service improvement plans to safeguard current and improve future service levels to the business.
Participate in service level review meetings and IT focus groups with application owners & users on a regular basis creating a structured business led approach to service evolution.
Ensure that the SLAs, OLAs and service catalogues are developed, agreed and maintained as required.
Ensure all relevant compliance requirements are conformed to for the relevant application.
Review and evaluate proposed application enhancements and releases, coordinate testing and approve necessary service disruptions/releases; to safeguard application functionality in line with business requirements.
Implement and maintain clear ITIL based processes for the full service operations life cycle: including production of regular statistical analyses and service performance reports.
Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with local and central IT organisations, be able to understand their business and talk their language and develop a future roadmap for all production services.

Key Accountabilities
Understanding of business, system and landscape - Maintain understanding of changes to Business practice, systems and landscapes. To ensure that security and compliance guidelines are understood and in keeping with processes in place.

Incident management - Ownership of all incidents with the supplierfrom logging to resolution, managing to ensure SLA's are not breached. Create and maintain accurate documentation of incident resolution.

Problem management - Highlighting trends and working with the supplierâs Problem Manager to progress from root cause analysis through to resolution.
Request and Access management - To include access management and regular access audits.
System configuration - Configuration changes within the system, maintain good system copies for test environments, create and maintain documentation of system configuration.
Review, evaluation, co-ordination of testing and deployment of releases - To understand release contents and relevance to our business, to communicate the above to business, organise testing and be a point of contact throughout. Obtain sign-off and manage the release to LIVE environment.
Monitoring and reporting on supplier performance - To ensure SLA are met and managed. To review as appropriate.
Manage regular incident and service review meetings - All relevant stakeholders to be present.
