Description:
Band D level for a period of 11 months from their start date;
The Tech Officer in Projects is accountable for ensuring they adhere and conform with all agreed DIO processes and operating procedures and instructions.
They will have responsibility for liaising and coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders in a multi discipline environment requiring good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience required in either mechanical, electrical or construction environment encompassing facility/infrastructure, repairs, injected minor new works & small projects.
CSCS Card holder status essential.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
Management and procurement of repairs, refurbishment & infrastructure installation projects.
Evaluating Customer requests, writing Statement Of Requirements for contract action using MOD core contracts.
Entering details of works in computer databases.
Track, monitor and update work status with Contractors to ensure customer expectations and agreed completion dates are being met;
Responsibility for providing support in delivering the environmental, health & safety, estate statutory compliance and assurance portfolio iaw DIO and customer requirements.
