Office 365 Client Technician
This position will enable the implementation of Office 365 technologies by contributing to key dependency projects and collaborating with existing internal staff in order to allow the continuation of normal operations of the existing infrastructure and services while preparing and making the transition.
Main responsibilities:
End User Solutions consists of the end-user environment including Workstations, Mobile Devices, Windows Servers, Management Tools and Virtualization Platforms.
The position is responsible for delivering Office 365 solutions through the execution of strategic projects.
These projects and activities are:
Design and Build a new Mobile Device Management approach
- Investigate; design and build the solution t manage mobile devices to fit the requirements of Office 365 and conditional access.
- Ensure a smooth migration approach is available from the current MDM platform to the new one.
Establish a Workstation Standard
- Conduct and analyse the risk assessment in the area of Workstation and formulate the Standard and Controls to ensure the risks are properly treated.
Manage and maintain the existing Workstation builds
- Perform updates to the build to ensure security compliance and provide functional changes where required
- Test and deploy the new Workstation build and the various role variants required
- Assess and update the relevant standards and control documents for the existing Workstation builds and related hardware and software solutions
