Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Take ownership of the instructional design and production of education materials to ensure quality deliverables
  • Participate in the entire instructional life cycle including designing, developing, testing, and measuring the effectiveness of training programs and track record of delivery on objectives and impact at scale
  • Fluent in current and emerging adult learning theory and how it is put into practice in corporate learning
  • Consult with Program Managers on appropriate learning solutions, conducts needs analysis and develop all support and evaluation plans
  • Create learning solutions for multiple delivery methods including instructor-led, hands-on lab sessions, web-based, and blended instruction
  • Perform ongoing analysis of training programs and performance trends to ensure objectives remain at the front of the field
  • Manage the relationship and development of content with key SMEs (Subject Matter experts)

Requirements:

  • Experience in successfully designing, developing, delivering and improving high-quality learning solutions including web-based learning technologies/webinar delivery
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly
  • Clear understanding of business needs and sensitivity to differences across various groups (functions, regions, vendors, roles, etc.)
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail while handling multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline pressure
  • Creative problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, an understanding of group and corporate dynamics
  • Fluent in current and emerging adult learning theory and how it is put into practice in corporate learning
  • Command of learning frameworks such as Adaptive Learning, ADDIE, CCAF, or a rapid learning development approach and experience with multiple authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Storyline and Camtasia
  • Video and creative design skills highly preferred and experience with video production tools such as Adobe Premiere
  • Experience creating learning solutions supporting customer service, call center and front line field employees a huge plus
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Instructional Design
