Description
GCS has a new requirement for a skilled Oracle Developer to join our Dublin city based financial client on an initial 12 month daily rate contract.
Responsibilities:
. Work with business to refine MIS requirements,
. Work with application developers to agree log file design,
. Provide occasional maintenance support on existing ETL processes,
. Develop new ETL processes,
. Liaise with DBAs to bring new/amended ETL processes to production,
. Develop new MIS reports,
. Interact with Test and Business personnel during system testing phases to bring new reports to production,
. Develop documentation including help text, report samples, and screen samples,
. Provide training for internal staff and external clients on new and existing products and technologies,
. Advice on the use of alternative reporting technologies,
. Assume other duties as assigned,

Requirements:
. Good knowledge of Oracle (10g and later)
. Strong background in PL/SQL,
. Strong background in Data Warehouse architectures,
. Experience with Hyperion (currently System 9 BI+)
. Other reporting technologies an advantage
