If you answered Yes, then the following Quantity Surveyor role will definitely be of interest to you.My client is looking to take on a Graduate Quantity Survey who is looking to kick start their engineering career. The role is to be part of a Quantity Surveying team, lining into a Managing QS, working on a large Substation and HVDC Converter project based in Hunterston, just outside of Glasgow. The role is on a contract basis, lasting up until the end of 2015 and will pay a day rate between £130 and £160 depending on experience. The role is site based working amongst 300 other workers.
The ideal candidate will have:
BSc in construction/Quantity Surveying or 1-3 years relevant QS experience.
Some knowledge of NEC/FIDIC forms of contract, however this is not essential.
Flexibility and commitment to the project.
Drive to show constant involvement and positive working approach.
Immediate availability to interview and to start work if successful.
