Senior Accountant - Digital Operations.
A Senior Accountant with experience of supporting the business to fully understand the financial benefits of a digital programme. is required to work on a six month initial contract for a Financial Services client based in Swindon, Wiltshire.
This is a great opportunity to work with a leading Financial Services client on an exciting Digital Operations Programme.
Overview of the Senior Accountant contract role
A new role, created to support the client's Digital Programmme and in particular to support the understanding and embedding of business benefits.
You will achieve this by:
- Attendance and inputting at project meetings.
- Calculation of project benefits - assessment of impact on operational cost base and resourcing.
- Tracking of benefits.
- Design and update of cost calculation spreadsheets.
- Relationship management with operational stakeholders and project managers
Key skills required for the Senior Accountant:
- Strong communication skills,
- Strong Commercial awareness,
- Able to analyse data and draw quick conclusions
This role will suit an accountant with strong commercial awareness and a background of working with operational teams. Financial services experience is not essential but candidate must have experience in a business partnering environment, demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills.
The role is based in Swindon this is commutable from Bristol, Bath, Cirencester, Reading, Cheltenham.
