3/6 month Java Contract
I'm currently working with a start-up who are based in South Dublin who are keen to get a number of contractors in to work on a Greenfield application. Exciting company that plans to double in size this year
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years development experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science.
- Java development skills J2EE
- Database skills with SQL experience.
- Strong JavaScript & HTML Skills
- Knowledge of Test driven development & Junit
- Applied usage of Design Patterns and OOP
Preferred Qualifications:
- AngularJS/Bootstrap knowledge
- Spring framework knowledge
- Experience in Web Services technologies (preferably REST)
- Unit testing frameworks like mockito or jmock or similar
- Comfortable with Linux
- Database deployment and tuning
- Experience with Spring
- Comfortable with configuration management tools, preferably Git, JIRA and TeamCity.
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, etc ) would be advantageous
