Description
Background:
You will join a team which is responsible for delivering the outsourced components of projects.
The team provides services (Contract, Relationship, Performance Management) to IT projects achieved through the definition of appropriate IT services (arbitrate on service definitions between outsourcing Partners and internal staff), the delivery of appropriate contractual agreements (creation, negotiation, administration and measurement of commercially agreed contracts) and the adherence to processes and practices (both internal and between Partners & the Bank) that govern the Partner relationship.
You will be part of a team of 6 people. The team is managing contracts with external IT Service Providers (not goods or people).
Tasks: Contract Management
Contribute to Partner selection when appropriate.
Responsible for all aspects (creation, negotiation, operation, evaluation) of Statement Of Work (SOW) with an outsourcing component.
Ensure that Partners adhere to the Framework Contract, rules, processes, procedures and Terms & Conditions.
Ensure that the Bank's stakeholders are conversant in the relevant contractual elements.
Enforce/improve Partner performance levels.
Ensure that Partners understand and accept of Service Level Agreements.
Report to Audit, Risk, and Governance/Partner Management teams in the Bank as appropriate.
Skills:
Experience in dealing with senior management and Outsourcing/Partner/Vendors.
Experience evaluating Application Development/Testing and Maintenance programmes/projects and contracts.
Able to write contracts in which you focus on improving contract terms and avoiding risks;
Drive a firm negotiation while remaining respectful to all parties involved when managing outsourcing contracts;
