Description

Required Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP configuration skills in FICO functional area and modules (FI-GL, FI-AA, FI-AP, FI-AR, Treasury, Taxes, FI reporting and period end closing processes), detailed understanding of controlling (CO-OM, CO-PC, CO-ML, COPA), detailed understanding of integration points between FICO and other modules (Purchasing, Sales, Inventory Management, Production Planning and Manufacturing), ABAP code reading and debugging skills are also beneficial,
  • 5+ years of related IT experience, Consumer Packaged Goods Industry experience preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of integration points to assigned SAP Finance functional area and related business processes,
  • Proficient in written & spoken English,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization,
  • Provides outstanding customer service skills to direct and indirect customers,
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours based on varying business requirements,
  • Knowledge and experience in following tools, disciplines and processes are nice to have: SAP Solution Manager, SAP ChaRM, ITIL tools & processes, HP QC, HP Service Manager, Mercury tools, project implementation and production support experience.

Deliverables:

  • Provide functional solutions in SAP Finance,
  • Prepare miscellaneous project deliverables within SAP finance function (estimate and plan, design, build, test, train, drive final preparation, migration and hypercare),
  • Adheres to the internal IT Delivery operating model, including technology standards, deployment methodology, release management, change management, and other related processes and procedures,
  • Actively engages with the business customer in defining optimal solutions,
  • Works with external vendors, including on-shore and offshore resources.

Accountabilities

  • Global:
  • Adheres to global SAP template and global standards, supports global governance and template management, provides subject matter expertise,
  • Helps in identifying global lift & shift opportunities across sectors within the assigned SAP Finance space and executes within the sector,
