Description
Red is searching for an SAP BO Specialist for a project with a global consultancy located near Tampa, FL. The Primary focus of this person will be Lumira Storyboard and Dashboard (BusinessObjects Design Studio) development.
Candidates with specific dashboard deliverables on their profiles are most suited for this role as opposed to a BOBJ Developer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Development of SAP analytics solutions, specifically the BusinessObjects suite of solutions including, Dashboards, BO Design Studio, Lumira, Web Intelligence, Analysis for Office/OLAP and the Information Design Tool (Universe Designer).
- Core BusinessObjects configuration including security roles, multi-tenancy configuration, general Launch Pad portal configuration.
- Technical object migration using SAP Life Cycle Manager (LCM)
- Lead blueprint sessions and other types of workshops
- Review Functional Design Specifications (business requirements) and translate requirements into technical design specifications
- Work directly with customer business leaders on BI strategy, scoping, requirements definition and solution selection
Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
- 7- 10 years SAP BusinessObjects development experience
- Clear understanding of SAP Database and Data Management and Analytics technology configuration, development and best practices
- Proficient in project documentation, specifically Functional Design Specifications, Technical Design Specifications, High Level Design documents and other similar deliverables
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Info Systems or similar
- Certification in SAP BusinessObjects development preferred
