Purpose
The Relational Data Modeller, under the direction of the Leader Enterprise Data Solutions, will be required to play a key role in the feasibility phase of a SAP HANA (native) project.
The main deliverables of this phase being:-
- Documentation of critical and future reporting requirements
- Documentation of metrics required (including the enterprise definition)
- Data quality assessment
- Design and development of initial metrics and example reporting
- Input into the planning and prioritisation for the main execution phase
Key Skills and Experience required
- Minimum 5 to 10 years' experience in a relational Datamodelling contractor/consultant role in a large and complex information technology organisation.
- Experience in asset intensive industries is highly desirable.
- Strong SQL and relational Datamodelling skills mandatory.
- Experience modelling in SAP HANA highly desirable.
- Strong consulting skills are highly desirable.
- Functional/technical proficiency with demonstrated experience in native SAP HANA Analytics design, development and implementation with mainly non-SAP data sources.
- Experience in developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical, sustainable business solutions.
- Strong configuration and design skills including data cleansing, data quality and data consolidation.
- SAP BusinessObjects and Microsoft Power BI skills are desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
