Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a SAP UI5 Developer, to carry out a 6 month engagement in Saudi Arabia
Summary:
Eight plus years experienced web developer with very strong UI focus used by SAP's application development to create complex state of the art user interfaces for large scale business applications this includes the development of the "UI Development Toolkit for HTML5" (SAPUI5 or short UI5) as well as applications on mobile devices.
In addition a capability to build/develop ABAP logics/RICEFW objects using different tools/technologies including Reports, BSP, WebDynpro Object Oriented, SmartForms and Fiori with various complexity levels. More than 3 full implementation with different SAP Functional backgrounds including MM, PM, PP, QM, SCM, IS-Oil etc. Experience in Workflow, BW and BO development is a plus. The candidate should hold minimally a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline and certified from SAP.
Job specification:
1. Minimum 3 years' experience in SAPUI5 or OpenUI5 development and OData protocol and mobile application.
2. Proficiency in developing SAP Fiori apps using SAPUI5 toolkit
3. Designed custom and complex SAP UI5 apps User Interface as well as in Eclipse and to extend SAP UI5 apps according to requirement
4. Developed Back End oData models for custom apps
5. Created Back End services in ABAP for custom UI5 applications.
6. Capable and optimize UI5 apps for mobile platform
7. Strong in several technologies and different developments such as SAP Reports, ALV Reports, ABAP Enhancements and Extensions, WebDynpro, Object Oriented (ABAP) programs, Smartforms and PDF forms is required.
8. Knowledge in SAP Enhancement Framework and Modifications including customer exits, and classical Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) is a big plus.
9. Knowledge in SAP BW, BO, Fiori, UI5, and JAVA
10. Analysing functional business applications and design specifications for functional activities.
11. Developing block diagrams, logic flow charts, and translates detailed design into computer software.
12. Testing, debugging, and refining the computer software to produce the required product.
13. Preparing their required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
14. Enhancing the software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
15. Analysing and developing web sites possessing a wide range of capabilities, including numerous static information, dynamic information, and multimedia components.
16. Analysing user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements and the most effective methods for information delivery.
17. Analysing problems and the information to be processed.
18. Identifying required tasks and their interrelationships.
19. Fully knowledgeable of SAP ASAP project implementation life cycle and required deliverables and documentations for each phase.
20. Excellent communication, documentation, requirement analysis and project management skills.
21. Proficient in using Microsoft office tools including Project and Vision
