Customer x was sold at the 1st of August 2019 from y to z. z has some requirements regarding the year end closing of the asset accounting and needs this information from x.
The customer tried to realize this in a test system by implementing an additional depreciation where they can show the affected assets with the net book value of 31st of July 2019, the new depreciation calculation start date 1st of August 2019 and the “remaining life” as the new “useful life”.
For this the customer had developed a customer owned program based on the standard program RAFABNEW, but they have a lot of trouble with transactions between this date and today and need a solution latest at the 12th of December 2019.
The customer use investment orders to post assets under construction which is one of the challenges regarding the asset transactions. This is the current solution approach, but the customer is also open for other solutions to cover the requirements of z.
Vorerst 6 Tage. Sollte mehr notwendig sein, muss Termin und Aufwand mit dem Kunden abgesprochen werden.
