Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP MM/SCM/Purchasing Lead Consultant to join a new project at a large UK manufacturer. Must have strong purchasing experience and knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry.
Requirements for the role:
- Material management
- Material master
- MRP
- Vendors
- Sub-Contracting
- All MM/PP master data
- Need to understand the PP Demand process, supply and forecasting
- Purchase to Procure process (intercompany, direct and indirect) with release strategies.
- PR, PO, GR
- STOs and intercompany and complex 3rd party logistics. (drop shipment, 3rd party shipment, direct shipment, Ex works collection, FOB collections, border collections etc )
- Understanding S&OP processes and master data to drive these.
- Ideally an understanding of the unique challenges facing a CPG (consumer packaged goods) company.
Nice to have:
- Experienced with IM handling units and complex packaging requirements
- Experience with transportation management
The initial contract will be for 6 months but it is likely to run on for a year. The role will be home based and the day rate is £550 plus expenses. The contract is outside of IR35.
Must be available to start immediately.
