Work Responsible for all the technical and administration aspects of the
Experience Groupement Berkine Oracle Database infrastructure. Also the first
point of call for providing database technical support as well as
& managing some other applications for Human Resource (RESHUM)
and Landmark oil&gaz applications such as (Openwells).
Projects
Duties:
DBA TASKS
-Installing, maintaining and upgrading the Oracle database and
supporting products.
-Deployment of Databases on Redhat /Oracle Linux flavours as well
as on windows systems.
-Develop / implement backup and recovery strategies.
Monitor and audit database access.
Perform database-tuning, performance monitoring and
troubleshooting.
-Create and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries and shell /batch
scripts.
-Responsible for database recovery and preventing data loss.
-Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
ORACLE EBS TASKS
-Performing Oracle EBS Application database administration tasks
including ADOP online patching, Cloning, creating backup and
recovery strategies, upgrading, performance tuning / optimization of
Oracle EBS system. In addition, of functional administration tasks like
user creations, granting roles, dealing with concurrent manger
issues
-Administrating and maintaining DISCO and Oracle WebLogic Server
to support the finance module of our Oracle ERP.
Hyperion ESSBASE ADMIN TASKS
-As Hyperion ESSBASE Technical administrator, we are responsible
of backup and restore of all the applications (cubes) and databases
created by finance end users.
-Starts and stops EPM application / database and heath Check.
-Manages the databases and locks within the assigned EPM
application.
DATASTREAM ADMIN TASKS
-As Technical Administrator Responsible of GMAO and APPROS
and Stock modules of Datastream ERP, we are Performing clones
and refresh of Datastream from/to our different environments. -
Supporting the deployment of Datastream applications under
WebLogic and disco reporting.
ORACLE APEX DEVELOPER TASKS
-As Oracle APEX Developer, we are responsible of installing APEX,
ORDS APACHE TOMCAT in different OS & environments.
-Performing requirements analysis, development, design, test, and
deployment of custom Oracle applications.
-Effective creation of dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX
environment, using APEX reporting tools, BI Publisher or Oracle
Reports.
-Maintain all our developed management /reporting systems and
supporting end-users.
WEBLOGIC ADMIN TASKS
-As WebLogic Administrator we plan install configure and test
WebLogic infrastructure components and connectivity
ORACLE LINUX ADMIN TASKS
-As Oracle Linux System Administrator we cover a range of
responsibilities including installation , using the Unbreakable
Enterprise Kernel, configuring Linux services, preparing the system
for the Oracle Database, monitoring ,troubleshooting, performing
logical volume disk management , using VMware for virtualization,
administering groups and users account ,access control and
password in addition of all system administrator tasks.
