From a young age, I was excited about technology and the possibilities it can offer. I remember seeing an invention, a new idea, thinking about why it could be useful, and making my thoughts on how it could be improved and utilized. Thus, I decided to try to be part of cutting-edge technology by studying at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, from which I graduated in December 2023.
During my journey as a student, I found that I was more interested in courses related to artificial intelligence, as they find applications in fields that can help humans in more serious matters, such as medicine, as well as in their daily lives. In this direction, I chose to collaborate with the Department of Radiology at the University of West Attica in research related to the application of artificial intelligence in cancer recognition and other medical tasks. Of course, as good as a model can be, it also requires the corresponding data at its input. For this reason, I was led to explore data, how it should be processed, and how to extract its value.
However, I have also worked in sectors that, while at first reading I thought were not of so much interest to me, eventually captured my interest. During my mandatory service in the Greek Army, I had the opportunity to be a member of the development team of VR-ITS, a program aimed at training soldiers using replica weapons through virtual reality.
I love being a team member and working for its benefit, it's a basic principle of mine, and I believe that collectivity and collaboration are some of the most important values of humanity. I also find honesty important in human relationships, whether they are professional or social.

I collaborate with the radiology department of the university, helping with machine learning and artificial intelligence topics. The purpose of the collaboration is research and the creation of research publications. Indicative subjects of interest include the classification of brain cancers and the segmentation of images produced by MRI.

I developed a chat app for the company´s internal use. The front end of the app is written in Flutter, Python Flask is used for the server and MySQL for the database. The app contains normal chatting, group chatting, sending images, videos, and voice messages and its main advantage is the increased security, using End-to-End Encryption, with 2 layers of encryption.
