This project lasted a total of one year and focused on the development of a complete 3D model of an industrial plant. To achieve this objective, the company primarily used AutoCAD software, a key tool for the accurate creation of three-dimensional models and technical drawings. The development of the 3D model was essential to accurately represent all the plant's structural, mechanical, and electrical elements. In addition to AutoCAD, Navisworks was used as a complementary tool for comprehensive model visualization and, especially, for detecting interferences between disciplines. This allowed potential conflicts to be anticipated during the construction phase, optimizing time and resources. Lumion was used to generate realistic visualizations of the project, facilitating the presentation of the design to the various stakeholders. Microsoft Excel was also used for data management and control, including bills of materials, schedules, and budgets. The integration of these tools enabled coordinated and efficient development, ensuring the quality of the model and the viability of the project during execution. In short, this year-long project combined advanced technology and detailed planning to deliver a complete and accurate representation of the projected plant.
