DevOps and backend engineer with 14 years in development and operations. I started with system administration and hardware; today most of my work is infrastructure, integrations, automation and AI agents that keep running on their own. Based in Dubai (UTC+4), working fully remote and async.
DevOps and infrastructure. Kubernetes, Ansible (around 200 playbooks in my own infrastructure), Docker, CI/CD, Linux. PostgreSQL with PgBouncer, Valkey/Redis, backups with off-site copies, monitoring on Grafana and VictoriaMetrics, alerting via Zabbix. Self-healing: a watchdog that brings a dead host back through its neighbours and the hypervisor without a human.
Networks. WireGuard, IPsec between sites, split tunnelling per domain, MikroTik / RouterOS, proxies.
Backend and integrations. Python, FastAPI, TypeScript/Node.js. APIs, webhooks, mail, spreadsheets, bank statements and invoices; parsing PDF and HTML into a database.
Bots and AI agents. Telegram bots (aiogram, Telethon), LLM integration into existing products, RAG, agents that take a task, plan it and report step by step. Local models with llama.cpp, LiteLLM and Open WebUI, routing between paid and free models.
Scrapers and data. Feeds, RSS, logged-in dashboards, exports, data moves between systems.
Mail. Self-hosted mail server for several domains, DKIM, SPF, DMARC, migrations out of hosted mail without losing a message.
Web. Landing pages, admin panels, web apps end to end.
How I work: first we agree on what done means, then I build it and show progress along the way. If a task is not mine I say so on day one. Freelancing since 2014.
