Storage Administrator

Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Systems in Distributed and Mainframe environments, specifically in the Storage area. Broad knowledge of the latest technologies of Information Storage. Extensive experience in design and implementation of architectures of centralized storage and SAN networks. Strong senior skills in the area of Storage in Mainframe environments. Leader of different groups of work in Technical Support and Storage. Proactive, achievement-oriented leadership and teamwork. Competent in making decisions. Excellent oral and written expression. • Administration, manages, maintain and enhance the complete Systems Managed Storage environments (DFSMSsms, DFSMSrmm, DFSMShsm, DFSMSdss and so on).
• Very good knowledge of z/OS ICF Catalogue Environments and VSAM datasets.
• Very good knowledge of IBM Software utilities.
• Manage and maintain DASD Subsystems (Dell EMC and IBM).
• Manage and maintain the DASD Replication Software. Excellent experience with DRP.
• Strong experience with Tape Libraries, Virtual Tapes and Disk Libraries for Mainframes (Dell EMC, IBM).
• Excellent experience with all leading Backup Solutions vendors including Veritas Netbackup, Dell EMC Networker and IBM Tivoli Storage Manager.
