IT Cloud Consultant

Working for AWS in the DACH region as a Technical Account Manager, I handled large scale enterprise customers for
AWS. Offering architecture guidance, support with difficult or criGcal cases, idenGfying risk and remediaGons plans and
driving cost opGmizaGon were some of my tasks as TAM. I also helped execuGves expand or opGmize their Cloud
business or operaGons. Thanks to my cost opGmizaGon recommendaGons I enabled one of my customers to save 1.2
million dollars per year. I was involved in several AWS Infrastructure Event Management programs which offers
architecture and scaling guidance and operaGonal support during the preparaGon and execuGon of planned events,
such as shopping holidays, product launches, and migraGons. One of the trickiest parts of such an event is the handling
of massive sudden traffic spikes so therefore careful planning is needed in advance in order to execute such an event
flawlessly. For these events, I helped my customers to assess operaGonal readiness, to idenGfy and miGgate risks, and to
execute their event confidently. For one of my customer I helped them to migrate all their workloads to the cloud in less
than 2 months, which enabled them to scale effortlessly and in Gme for a planned business event.

Working in the DevOps and AutomaGon department at OpenText locaGon in Rheinbach, my job as a senior DevOps was
to maintain and orchestrate the so=ware cloud environment in AWS which was offered to external customers, to
develop automated soluGons for the upgrade and patching of so=ware and to deploy complex soluGons in the cloud.
Implemented a mulG-threaded mode for the orchestraGon tools performing the so=ware upgrades in the AWS
environment which improved the efficiency of the process by 50%. Developed and designed a High Availability and Self-
Healing complex cloud soluGon (involving Docker, Salt, AWS Lambda etc.) which was deployed with Terraform.
Developed and maintained a Django Web ApplicaGon used for automaGng the Cloud orchestraGon.

Eurolab is one of Ericsson's main R&D site and Data Center for the Mobile Core Network. My job there was to do
network design and planning, provide end to end soluGons, test network configuraGon, so=ware development and
tesGng according to 3GPP/IETF open standards. I did troubleshooGng and even provided customer support. I have
delivered more than 5000 MSC working dumps and deployed hundreds of networks. This achievement was done
through the heavy use of automaGon, and I was developing and maintaining tools wriven in Java, Python, Ruby and
UNIX shell scripGng. I also developed tools and processes to enable conGnuous integraGon for our so=ware release and
verificaGon acGviGes. I was involved in several innovaGons and first-Gme soluGons: first SIP/SIP-I introducGon for ETSI &
ANSI standards in Ericsson MSS, first Server Blade Cluster soluGon for ETSI, CWTS, ANSI and TTC standards, first
virtualizaGon prototype and cloud trials for MSS, first SMSoSg and SRVCC (interacGon with LTE), first IPV6 deployment




for the MSS test networks. I have parGcipated in an internal Ericsson Hackathon and my team won first prize with an
innovaGve web applicaGon for deploying automaGcally virtualized network funcGons. Since 2011 we were working in an
Agile way at Eurolab and my team has adopted a Test-Driven Development process. I have mentored junior colleagues
as I was regarded as a Technical Team Leader by my team and colleagues.
