I started my journey with web development during the coronavirus pandemic. I have been an airline pilot for all of my adult life and needless to say that this was one of the first jobs to go down during the pandemic. I used the opportunity to pursue a long term dream of learning how to code and use my skills for practical applications. I completed a bootcamp where I learnt the fundamentals of HTML CSS and Javscript. I immediately secured my first internship in the field and shortly after launched my career with my first full-time job and absolutely fell in love with it. I have since gone back to being an airline pilolt but still stay up to date with the latest technologies and practices by taking on freelance projects. I am quite comfortable with Javascript and Typescript and I have a basic understanding of Python and C# as well as I use them for small hobby projects.
