Project history
Worked on two projects: (1) Belema Business E-Wallet - Built a merchant-focused e-wallet and Smart POS backend platform using Java and Spring Boot microservices, supporting onboarding, identity verification, payment processing, and financial reporting through REST APIs integrated with PostgreSQL. Developed and maintained REST APIs, implemented asynchronous API communication using WebFlux, handled concurrent request flows, integrated backend validation and business logic, implemented Spring Security with JWT, optimized PostgreSQL queries, improved unit test coverage, resolved SonarQube issues, and utilized AI-assisted development tools. Tech Stack: Java 21, Spring Boot, Spring WebFlux, Microservices, PostgreSQL, Spring Security, JWT, Maven, JUnit 5, Swagger, Git, Amazon Q, Qodogen. (2) Monitoring and Attestation - Worked on a PCI MPOC-compliant attestation and monitoring platform for BYOD payment environments, validating device trust, managing device lifecycle operations, and enforcing monitoring policies for secure POS transactions. Created REST APIs for device validation and lifecycle management, added backend logic for policy enforcement, cleaned up SonarQube issues, and collaborated with cross-functional teams.
