Backend Developer | PHP/Symfony, Python, APIs & Automation | Prague, EU

Backend developer based in Prague. I build and maintain server-side systems in PHP (Symfony) and Python, and I automate the repetitive parts of a business.

What I do most often:

• Working inside existing codebases — taking over a project someone else wrote, finding out why it behaves the way it does, fixing it and adding features without breaking what already works.

• REST APIs and integrations: making systems talk to each other, moving data between web applications, CRMs and accounting software.

• Telegram bots and process automation: data collection through a guided dialog, scheduled reports, notifications, exports to Excel.

• Parsers and data processing: collecting data from external sources, normalisation, matching records between systems, clean exports.

• Server side: Docker, Linux, deployments, database migrations, MySQL and PostgreSQL.

How I work: I deliver in small working steps instead of one big handover at the end, I explain in plain language what was done and why, and I say up front when a task is outside what I do well.
