Project history
Built a fully local voice assistant using speech recognition, llama3.2 via Ollama, and offline pyttsx3 speech in a continuous loop with no cloud LLM. Fixed a Windows SAPI5 COM threading bug by running text-to-speech in a separate subprocess. Replaced the official Ollama client with direct HTTP requests and is adding wake-word and Whisper offline STT.
Built an offline-first scanner with ML Kit edge detection and perspective correction, multi-page capture, and on-device OCR. Secured data in 3 layers: SQLCipher-encrypted Room database, AES-256/GCM passphrase in Android Keystore, and sandboxed file storage. Optional Supabase sync with Google Passkey (FIDO2) login and Row Level Security. Structured with MVVM + Repository, StateFlow, and Navigation Compose with Material 3 dark glassmorphism UI.
Built an Ethereum dApp to issue and verify certificates with SHA-256 hashes stored on-chain for tamper-proof records. Added Admin and Student roles with MetaMask wallet login and smart-contract logic for on-chain revocation. Connected the frontend through ethers.js to support the full certificate lifecycle from issuance to revocation.
