Project history
Responsible for launching of a new suite of connectivity applications (web portals and phone app) for Virgin Media
Ireland.
* Overall accountable for the deliverables and delivery. My engagement started from the Impact assessment
phase and finished once we had the Commercial Go Live.
* Managing the project from a planning and delivery perspective: ownership of the Delivery Plan,
contracting, supervising, and motivating the delivery teams.
* Responsible for the integration of over 10 separate components developed by LGI teams but also external
vendors.
* During the project I had to engage close to 200 people and form cross-functional teams ranging between
10-20 members.
* Technical leadership and coordination of project software teams: development, QA, architecture,
hardware, operations, security, performance.
* A short classification of my deliverables: design documents, environment readiness, SIT deployments, SIT
testing, UAT deployments, Operational readiness activities (e.g. performance, security testing), PROD Go
Lives.
* SPOC for the customer for their UAT, TFT/FUT, warranty or any (technical) question.
* Managing clients' expectations and integration activities to achieve our milestones.
* Following the Agile processes in Jira: CR (change request creation, approvals, and updates), RM (release
management for code delivery in all the environments). In USMS CRQs and Incidents creation for engaging
the L2 and Ops teams for UAT & PROD). Weekly project updates and Wiki pages for maintaining an up-todate
API & URL information and delivery stories.
* Integration and management of the front-end platforms (web, app) with IT backend (Akana gateway,
Microservices, Identity Management, Backend mobile platforms, voice and TV DBs, Carto maps, ACS and
physical CPEs) hosted both in our datacenters and in AWS.
* All the responsibilities listed above have played a decisive role in ensuring a successful delivery in a
challenging timeframe (approx. 1y)

- Definition and validation of the infrastructure matrix (connectivity matrixes) required for the test
environment integration: northbound with Amdocs environments, southbound with network

- Preparing and deploying our framework and components on standalone and high availability
environments both on our local and Vodafone labs
- Deploying and configuring Logic libraries, Lookup tables, Network element interfaces and all
necessary configurations.
