My main interests are complex backend solutions build around Java technologies, which include special mathematical and logical algorithms. Other fields of interest are database systems and source code optimization and testing, to provide maximal throughput of transactions and flawless application functioning.
I work as a freelancer, mainly on big and complex IT projects, as a Java developer and architect. I also worked on projects for many insurance companies in the region (Triglav zavarovanje d.d., Vzajemna d.z.v., Croatia osiguranje d.d. , Adriatic Slovenica d.d.). Therefore, I have excellent knowledge and a lot of experience in information systems and software solutions for insurance companies. Last years I have been working on complex microservice-based solutions, mainly as a Java backend developer, but also as a full-stack developer, using mainly Angular.
So I have excellent knowledge of backend technologies, especially Hibernate/JPA/Spring Framework/Spring boot, Node.js, and RESTful solutions. I declare myself as a full-stack developer since I possess knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular, Svelte.
Other fields are relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, with a huge number of records. Since all solutions, I was working on have included extensive usage of database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, MsSql, MySql).
I also have experience in DevOps, especially Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes, OpenShift, as well as some knowledge of cloud platforms Azure, AWS.
