About me
I read systems nobody documented — and design what replaces them. 18+ years as the analyst on the ground: legacy reverse engineering, integration and data design, process + system TO-BE, prototype-first specs with AI. Contracting via my own company; remote-first, CET.

Legacy modernization & reverse engineering
Understanding undocumented systems from the source — code, schemas, stored procedures, ETL — and designing their path to modern architecture without business disruption. Several hundred legacy procedures reverse-engineered from source code in 10 months (EPAM, Broadridge × UBS); full AS-IS discovery of a ~500-table network-infrastructure database (Vodafone); replatforming proposal, backlog and roadmap for a monolith EU VAT platform (KPMG).
Integration, API & data design
Analysis and integration design across 10+ interconnected subsystems of a live smart-building platform (MOL Campus): data models, storage structures, data-source selection and job scheduling for a central sensor data warehouse. REST / OpenAPI / Swagger analysis, SQL, entity and retention modeling.
Process + system design (AS-IS → TO-BE)
Business processes designed together with the systems they run on — from email, paper and spreadsheet operations to validated, audited workflows. Workshops with business owners, architects, vendors and UX; process and ER maps, BRDs, functional specifications.
Role-based access & entitlement modeling
Led the access-model design (entitlement → role → employee) for an umbrella admin platform with architects and dev leads; role management go-live for ~3,000 users across 3 vendors (Jul 2026).
AI-enabled, prototype-first specification
My own method, the Excavation Method: excavate, model, prototype with AI, validate before development. Requirements delivered as working HTML prototypes and validated data models (Claude, Atlassian Rovo) — adopted as the common reference by all three delivery vendors on MOL Campus.
Delivery
Requirement lifecycle from discovery to go-live · go-live and cutover planning · multi-vendor coordination · backlog ownership · Agile / Scrum · JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
Domains

Project history
MOL Campus smart building program — the digital layer of the company headquarters: 3,000 employees, 10+ digital services, three delivery vendors (frontend, backend, data).
• Owned analysis and integration design for the live campus platform after its handover: 10+ interconnected subsystems (access control, parking, smart lockers, digital signage, service booking, IoT sensor data warehouse).
• Led analysis and solution design of the Campus Platform Admin UI — an umbrella admin layer (first services: lockers, parking, vending, fitness, campus app) that replaced email requests and manual table edits with validated, audited self-service. Designed the role-based access model (entitlement → role → employee) with architects and dev leads; role management go-live for ~3,000 users across 3 vendors (Jul 2026).
• Introduced an AI-enabled, prototype-first specification workflow (Claude, Atlassian Rovo), adopted as the common reference by all three vendors.
• Defined data models, storage, data sources and job scheduling for the central sensor data warehouse; led go-live and cutover of business-critical systems.
Co-founded a software company and grew a three-bullet client brief into a salon-management ERP for the Biohair franchise network: product master, revenue and expenses, invoicing, warehouse and central ordering, loyalty and training modules.
• Scaled with the client from ~20 to ~50 salons (35 today), 150–250 daily active users, thousands of guest transactions a day — a client relationship continuously live for 14 years.
• Designed the network's operating processes with owners, salon managers and floor staff — from paper, spreadsheets or nothing to central client identification, network-wide color-formula records, real-time revenue views and one-click goods receipt from central orders.
• Designed the offline-first architecture: an asymmetric sync model that eliminated data conflicts by design and doubled as the update pipeline; dual UX for salon floor and central administration.
• Led the venture phase (2012–2017): angel investment, financial plans and cash-flow models, negotiations with industry majors incl. L'Oréal and Schwarzkopf.
• Since 2026: requirements & product lead for the full platform rewrite (Vendro) — browser-based, multi-tenant cloud POS, AI-assisted two-person build; live in Vienna since Oct 2026.
Legacy DUBBO platform — the network-infrastructure database behind towers, antennas and repeaters.
• Delivered the complete AS-IS discovery: ~500 tables, several thousand entities, stored procedures, custom scripts and ETL processes — de-risking the replacement program.
• Reconstructed undocumented data flows and dependencies through structured deep-dive interviews (stakeholders, processes, data); identified every data-extraction interface for the migration.
• Translated future business needs into a structured, prioritized backlog for the target solution.
