I am Carlos, a Bachelor in Fine Arts. While completing my BA from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, I co-founded Laboratorio de Fabricación, a makerspace devoted to digital fabrication and new media based in Valencia, Spain, where I discovered programming.
For the last ~3 years I've been working as a Front End Developer at Liquid Squad (Accenture Digital), doing my best at writing beautiful code by designing and implementing modular and scalable architectures through BEM methodology, OOP patterns and atomic design for (mainly) digital banking and fin-tech solutions. Last year, I was in charge of creating framework-agnostic architecture design and implementation through Vanilla JS modules in order to create scalable & resilient applications for one of the world's largest banks.
After this exciting experience, I decided to take the plunge and work full-time as a freelance.
Technology wise, I really love Javascript - I do consider frameworks are just a tool, so I don't have a problem working with React, Vue, Angular or just good old plain vanilla. Fun fact: I really enjoy working with CSS!
I also enjoy creative coding and occasionally participate in open source projects, developing physical interfaces for video-games in public spaces and other random stuff.
