* Design Substation Protection & Control Systems and perform testing &
commissioning of major power system projects up to 400kV in the UK.
* Preparing relay panel layouts, single line diagrams, AC and DC schematic
diagrams, SCADA Communication architecture drawings and wiring
diagrams.
* Implement substation control & protection designs compliant to IEC 61850
substation communication standards.
* Preparing I/O schedules, MS Visio drawings, topology diagrams etc. for
IEC61850 based SCADA control systems.
* Programming controllers and network switches for SDN networks.
* Preparation of calculation sheets, equipment specifications, development
proposals & estimates.
* Prepare wiring connection specifications, bill of materials, interface drawings
and multicore cable schedules.
* Calculate and review specific protection and control settings, and prepare
configurations, testing and commissioning procedures across all protection
types.
