Project history
Intended to provide the Revenue department with a solution that allowed combined reporting/dashboards and
analysis of their various application sources using Microsoft Power BI
* Liaison with SMEs, and business users to understand business workflow and reporting needs then worked
with the BIDS team to map the data
* Reported on Revenue's identified subject areas
* Modeled the data for reporting and as a data analyst took time to understand the complex business
processes that drove data transformation rules
* Produced the required dynamic reports/dashboards using Microsoft Power BI as well as offered ad-hoc
reporting capabilities which did not previously exist
* Applied advanced knowledge of visual design, PowerBI dashboard, and PowerBI tools
* Increased Revenue's ability to leverage information when making strategic decisions that align with the
municipality's priorities and objectives.
The Project captured all business requirements for BI Reporting which were solicited from the Corporate Health
Safety and Wellness Team
* Lead the Business Report Requirement Analysis as laid out by the business stakeholders.

* Performed Day-to-Day Project Management Tasks including preparation of status reports and other
communications.
* Played a key role in various forms of testing. Developed collateral and deliver training on ETL packages
and BI Applications to both technical and business stakeholders.
* Lead the development of change management documentation to assist promotion of ETL packages and BI
applications to production status.
* Created web intelligence reports and Xcelsius dashboards which served as a key decision-making tool that
assisted managers in applying preventative actions and safety strategies across the organization.
