European programme direction
Direction of research and innovation programmes funded by the European Commission, with a combined budget above €21M and more than 50 international partners. Consortium coordination, multi partner governance, budget tracking and executive reporting.
Technical program management
Coordination of engineering teams and vendors in complex, multi actor environments. Management of technical dependencies, delivery milestones, risk and budget. Comfortable challenging an architecture and working with engineers as a peer, backed by a technical background and a PhD in Computer Science.
Cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
Expertise in cybersecurity for critical and energy infrastructure, and in European regulatory compliance including DORA and the AI Act. Steering of compliance workstreams and review of ethics aspects on sensitive projects.
AI Act and AI governance
Support to organisations on AI Act readiness and governance: system classification, risk assessment, documentation and compliance roadmaps. Ethics and compliance review on AI projects, drawing on advisory board roles across four Horizon Europe projects.
Project management and agile methods
SAFe, Agile at scale, Scrum and classic project management, applied to complex technology programmes at European scale, including change management and risk management. SAFe 5 Agilist and Certified Scrum Master.
PMO, portfolio and governance
Setup and running of PMOs, portfolio management of complex technology projects, leadership of distributed teams across Europe, and executive reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Artificial intelligence and IoT
Direction of programmes in applied artificial intelligence and next generation IoT, including the ROXANNE and IoT-NGIN projects.
Horizon Europe proposals and evaluation
Support to consortia on Horizon Europe proposal preparation: work package structuring, impact section drafting and pre submission review. Registered expert evaluator with the European Commission.

Designed and developed an in house simulation tool that replaced a proprietary solution, cutting licensing costs by 50%
