Industrial Engineer with huge experience in Business Consultancy (Strategy, Sales, Operations). He worked in McKinsey & Company Inc., where he developed several projects (Plant Distribution, Financial Planning, Processes Re-engineering) for large firms in Mexico: PEMEX, Infra, CYDSA, TELMEX.
He later worked for Telrad, a telecommunications israeli company where he was Engineer and Development Manager, introducing many new telephony technologies for different projects for mexican government and private clients.
Looking for a twist in his professional trajectory, he founded his own Macintosh Consultancy firm and he was working there for 7 years.
Once he decided keep himself into IT Consultancy, entered to Tecnocon, a SAP Consultancy firm where he started to know more about this ERP.
He took part in many different SAP projects, playing many roles: consultant, module leader, project leader, project manager. He worked in projects for clients related to several industries: pharma, telco, beverages, consumption goods, transportations.
He decide to retake the entrepreneurial way and founded Consult IT, his SAP Consultancy firm (2000) and he was the Commercial Director that developed the commercial strategy. He achieved alliances with important (and bigger) SAP partners in Mexico: Neoris, NASOFT (North America Software), SCAi, Softtek and co-worked with them but itself alone also in SAP projects, including Upgrades, rollouts and full implementations.
He sold or worked in projects of pharma, chemical, finance, automotive, beverages, food, consumption goods, telco, manufacture, metalmechanic industries.
He also has been provided Training of a wide scope: since SAP academies (PP, PP-APO, MM, PS, QM) to Sales, CRM, Consultancy overviews/tracks in Mexico as well abroad (Colombia, Venezuela, Perú, Chile, Costa Rica, Panamá).
Mr. Contreras recently studied Project Management in order to obtain his PMI
