Project history
Reliability, performance and security of the SQL Server estate at the Chartres manufacturing site (insulin injection pens): 70 production instances and 200+ databases (Enterprise, Standard and Express editions, Always On and standalone).
- Performance tuning: bottleneck analysis, index management, query optimisation
- Critical production support (IT/OT): incidents on packaging and filling lines, blocked batches, missing SCADA reports
- Distributed SQL architecture: SCADA / HMI interfaces, batch reports, linked servers, cross-database synchronisation
- GxP compliance: data integrity and traceability, documentation in the quality system
- Five PowerShell tools built and deployed: centralised monitoring and logging, automated user review reports across 70 instances, S.M.A.R.T. and RAID monitoring, preventive parsing of risky write queries (Datashield), schema versioning and audit trail with Markdown + Git
- Monitoring with SCOM and SquaredUp; incidents and changes in ServiceNow; Azure DevOps (Kanban)
