Portfolio

item-0

World Record Largest Molecular Dynamics Simulation

Performed world's first simulation of 20 000 000 000 000 molecules on Munich and Stuttgart supercomputers. Received award from president of Bulgaria.
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/1094342018819741
item-1

500x speed-up of tools for Semiconductor Company

Certain routines in transistor layout tools very computationally expensive. Achieved 500x speed-up through profiling, optimization and parallelization of C++ code. User waiting time cut from 8+ hours to 5 minutes.
item-2

Aircraft Wake Vortex Simulation and Modeling | DLR

Aircraft unavoidably generate a pair of strong vortices behind them. Those vortices pose hazards to following aircraft, particularly when landing on the same runway. Performed C++ modeling for real-time advisory systems onboard aircraft. Ran and analyzed 27 large eddy CFD simulations

item-3

Blood Flow Inside Arteries at Fraunhofer MEVIS

Pre-operative planning of treatment of cardiovascular disease requires patient-individual simulations of blood flow inside arteries. Worked on CFD simulations and workflow for executing them from scanner data.
