The company I work for is a maintenance contractor for various industries throughout the UAE and
across the world.

Job Description:

* Ordering, receiving and placing into inventory the Rope Access equipment at the manager's
discretion.
* Oversee the Rope Access store.
* Update and maintain the RAMS (Rope Access Management System) regarding the type, amount and
conformity of the equipment, etc.
* Actively involved in site visits and the preparation of quotations for potential and existing
clients.
* Compile the required documents for the rope access teams whenever there is a job to be done.
* Coordinate with the teams to ensure the job is done safely, professionally, timeously and as
per the client's requirements.
* Ensure that the mobilization & demobilization processes ran smoothly.
* Liaison between client and our company from the time of job commencement till completion.
* Assist with the compiling and submittal of documents for tenders, RFI's and RFQ's with major
companies in various industries.
* Actively involved in the marketing of rope access services offered by our company for various

The refineries operated on a 12hr/4shift system. Shift handover took place at the start of every
shift via verbal communication as well as log book entries regarding what was done on the previous
shift as well as instructions for the next shift.
Reported directly to the Refinery Manager regarding the daily activities in the plant including:
* the duties of my fellow workers i.e. individual task duties.
* about any maintenance or repairs taking place and their expected completion time
* assisted with the production planning regarding the daily, weekly and monthly
production schedule as per the customers' requirements and orders.
* managed the housekeeping inspections as per checklist which included the
cleanliness of the plant as well the safety aspects of the plant as per government and company
regulations.
* attended to the ordering of the consumables necessary for the day to day operational
processes taking place in the plant.
* responsible for asset care in the plant, staff as well as machinery.
* Actively involved in troubleshooting & problem solving
* Knowledge of Safe Operating Procedures, company policies, rules & regulations.
* Liaised with the Engineering & Electrical Departments regarding repairs & plant

* Plant maintenance such as basic everyday duties of greasing pumps and

issues such as the CIP of vessels, heat exchangers, heating and cooling tubes, pressurized vessels,
