FRENCH TRANSLATOR, TRANSLATOR

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives; providing improvement ideas to
processes and services
* Provide a detailed bi-weekly reports of all translation requests and current status to
direct manager
* Manage and prioritize translation requests to meet established delivery expectations and
ensure all service level agreements are met
* Translate content from English to French using our internal content management system
* Responsible for product copy modifications, additions and deletions within a web-based
content management system
* Work collaboratively with all departments depending on demand
* Communicate effectively with department managers and others in the organization

* Work in conjunction with Quality Managers to improve the quality of Expedia Inc. websites
* Informs the Manager about the progress of the work and any related problems arising in the
course of the translation
* Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining
communication and updating senior team members on progress
* If appointed as Deputy Translation Line Manager, cover for absence of Line Manager
* Provide linguistic support to project managers and other colleagues
* Use translation tools/software and other programs (e.g., word processing, desktop
publishing, workflow management) to streamline the translation process
* Flexible work schedule; Should be ready to work in rotational days/ shifts
