Project history
Created a Web-based platform for 'School Canteen Rating,' allowing students to rate their daily meals. My role as a Developer / Builder covered the entire process, utilizing Python for backend logic, HTML for structured content, and various scripts and scraping techniques to ensure a seamless user experience and efficient data collection. The project's goal was to gather student feedback on canteen food, and it yielded positive results: low-rated (bad) food items were identified and subsequently changed based on the collective student input, directly improving the dining experience.
Developed a unique Python Script – the 'MegaC. System' – purely for the joy of coding and exploring complex functionalities. As the Developer, I focused on pushing the boundaries of what a personal project can achieve, experimenting with various Python capabilities to build a fascinating system. While primarily a passion project, it served as an excellent opportunity to deep-dive into advanced Python programming and problem-solving, enhancing my core development skills.
Built a dynamic Google Sheets Script designed for real-time option tracking. My role as a Developer involved creating a robust system that efficiently scrapes current prices and relevant data directly from Yahoo Finance. This data is then automatically organized and stored within Google Sheets, essentially turning it into a live database. The primary goal was to provide users with up-to-date financial insights, and the project delivered a 100% functional solution, consistently providing accurate and timely information.
