About me

Energy systems engineer turned tech entrepreneur. I build things that make energy data understandable — most recently kilowattlas.com, a real-time platform tracking electricity production across global grids. Rare combination of energy domain depth and modern software development.

Fullstack Web Development
Expertise in building complete web platforms using Svelte and React on the frontend, Go and PHP on the backend, with REST APIs and full responsibility for architecture, code, and operations.

Database Engineering & ETL Pipelines
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, PostGIS, and MySQL for data modelling, complex queries, and optimisation, combined with building ETL pipelines in Python for real-time data collection and transformation.

Data Analysis & Machine Learning
Strong foundation in data processing and statistical analysis using Pandas, NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn for ML and analytical applications.

AI Tools Integration
Practical experience integrating AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Ollama into daily development workflows, including introducing these tools to colleagues without a traditional development background.

Operations & DevOps
Hands-on experience with Docker, Linux/Ubuntu, Dokploy, version control, and production deployment for managing and operating software platforms.

Engineering Software Development (Python, C++, Fortran)
Development and maintenance of complex engineering applications in Python, Fortran, and C++ for numerical analysis, domain-specific calculation logic, and strict data quality requirements in regulated environments.

Domain Knowledge in Energy & Sustainability
Broad knowledge in energy systems, electricity markets, power engineering, thermodynamic process systems, climate data, LCA, sustainability reporting (ESG/CSRD), and real-time data platforms.

Agile Product Development & Technical Documentation
Application of Agile/Scrum methodologies, requirements analysis, systems thinking, and production of technical documentation tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Numerical Modelling & Simulation
Experience evaluating simulation frameworks such as MOOSE for advanced energy systems, with a strong analytical and mathematical foundation applied to complex real-world systems.

Project history

Founder & Developer

Serenit AB
Building and operating kilowattlas.com, a full-stack web platform for real-time analysis and visualisation of global energy and climate data. Designed and built a complete SaaS platform using Svelte, Go, PostgreSQL/PostGIS, and REST APIs. Built ETL pipelines in Python for real-time data collection and transformation. Managed the full product lifecycle including architecture, deployment in Docker on Linux, and AI tool integration.

Safety Analysis Engineer

Westinghouse Electric Sweden
Developed and maintained engineering applications in Python, Fortran, and C++ for numerical analysis of complex systems in regulated environments. Led code development projects end-to-end including requirements definition, implementation, quality assurance, and delivery. Collaborated with teams in Sweden, the US, and Finland with all technical communication in English.

Technical Consultant

Semcon (now Knightech Group)
Engineering consultant on assignments within technical advisory, systems analysis, and client delivery for industrial customers. Acted as a technical partner to clients, translating business needs into concrete technical requirements. Served as single point of contact for mapping systems health of power plant process systems. Led structured analysis workshops and produced documentation and recommendations for audiences ranging from engineers to senior management.

Master's Thesis — Numerical Modeling

Seaborg Technologies (now Saltfoss Energy)
Evaluated the MOOSE framework for simulation of advanced energy systems as an independently executed analytical project. Findings were presented to both a technical and strategic audience. Gained international experience at an early-stage energy tech company in Copenhagen, Denmark.
