With expertise in artificial intelligence (AI), compliance technology, machine learning and leadership, I have a strong track record of leading impactful initiatives across various industries. I led the Fraud team at a Danish fintech valued at $4.7 billion, where I co-founded an AI Lab, boosting operational efficiency tenfold through hackathons and MVP development. I also designed AI-based Transaction Monitoring Systems.

My machine learning skills are demonstrated in my work on sophisticated fraud detection models in collaboration with data analysts. I've automated risk rating models and streamlined third-party screening solutions, saving substantial review time.

I've led agile Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) programs and engaged with regulators like the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority (DFSA).

In terms of analytics, I've utilized SQL, Power BI, and BigQuery for data management and analysis. I've introduced SAFe frameworks, analytics platforms, and conducted impactful impact assessments.

My skill set extends beyond the financial sector. I've worked in startups, public institutions, healthcare research, and consulting. I've contributed to data structuring and insights generation, as well as team coaching.

Proficient in Python, SQL, Scikit-Learn, and Power BI, I'm well-equipped to tackle diverse data-driven challenges. I'm also deeply committed to staying current with industry trends.

  • Setting the Vision and Key Results: As the Company's Fraud team lead, my primary duty was establishing a clear vision, mission, and Objective Key Results (OKRs). I ensured accountability for achieving these OKRs within specified timeframes. This entailed steering the team toward a common goal, enhancing performance, and reporting on critical Key Results, including False Positive Rate, Case Handling Time, SLAs, and monthly Fraud Loss updates to management.
  • Team Transformation: I sourced and onboarded risk consultants to assist in the establishment of a fraud risk assessment. This initiative transformed a previously demotivated team into a highly motivated and cohesive unit. I accomplished this by clarifying expectations, setting weekly priorities, implementing weekly sprint planning and stand-up meetings, and introducing rigorous investigation reviews, procedures, and work instructions.
