Back-End and Database Developer

Hello, I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from UNC-Wilmington with a minor in Mathematics and have over 6 years of experience with coding and database design/administration. I have been doing freelance work for several months, but my prior job was working for a leading company in creating and supporting ODBC, JDBC, and ADO.NET connectors for over 120 sources. As a small company, they had me fill many roles as needed, which meant I worked in development, QA, technical support, database administration, debugging, and more.

My primary programming languages are C, C++, Python, and Java. With my previous career, I was able to work with each of these frequently alongside SQL and data visualization applications. However, I have used a vast array of other languages and applications throughout my career and I find my ability to adapt to new challenges to be higher than the average. 

I am very detail-oriented and efficient, with the primary goal being to exceed expectations in every job I take on. Whether I am working on a two-hour project or a two-year contract, I ensure quality, timeliness, and communication. In my spare time, I often work on enhancing my current skills further and developing new ones that I can use in the field, which is the primary reason behind my decision to become a freelancer.
