Illustrator

I am a Portuguese illustrator and I live and work in Lisbon. I graduated in arts education and later in painting where I start experimenting etching.
Continuing to draw, I started to illustrate and published some illustrated books, almost all for children.
In addition to book illustrations, I also created posters, CD covers, murals and illustration for ceramics and textiles.
I received a prize for best illustration Matilde Rosa Araújo in 2012 and a special mention of the Compostela award for illustrated albums in 2018.
I participated in national and international illustration catalogs, such as Iberoamerica Ilustra, 2016 and integrate collective and individual llustration exhibitions.
Despite drawing mainly in watercolor and graphite crayons on paper, I complete with digital illustration in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
I run illustration workshops and interactive activities for the presentation of books and stories to children and families.
