Project history

Electro-Mechanical Engineer

Design Center Colorado and WABTEC

Industry & Mechanical Engineering

< 10 team member

Designed and constructed a device to automate the inspection of 70 lb train bearings for surface defects down to the nanoemter. Demonstrated the functioning project live at the CU Design Expo. Coded for over 100 hours in Keyence's KV-Studio using ladder-logic for PLCs. Researched optics and created pseudocode for collaboration across shifts and time zones.

Mechanical Engineer

CU Boulder
Researched, designed, and manufactured flow valves for a handmade PVC pump. Built a solar oven from salvaged parts that reached 300F. Designed a small refrigerator for transportation of sensitive vaccines by bicycle.
