  • Trained IBMers globally in watsonx products.
    • During the initial roll-outs of watsonx.ai, watsonx.data, and watsonx.governance, helped to design and deliver trainings that educated over 1000 IBMers over the course of 6 months.
      • Traveled to several US locations to help with or lead trainings
      • Delivered a training solo in Madrid to 45 IBMers from over 9 different countries
  • Built and maintained internal business solutions - ~10,000 unique  users
    • Designed, built, and maintained the watsonx Demo Hub, a web application with curated, searchable demo assets
      • The implementation used React & Next.js, ChromaDB for search functionality, Python, Flask and OIDC for auth, and was deployed into an OpenShift cluster.
    • Led a global team of AI Engineers to build an AI-infused search assistant for the STARS application
      • The implementation used Vue.js & Nuxt, watsonx Discovery (Elastic Search), Watson Assistant, and watsonx.ai.
      • Components were deployed into GitHub Pages and Code Engine.

  • As a Presales Engineer, worked with sales, technical sales, account technical leads, managing directors and customers to architect new IBM COS solutions as well as expansions to existing on-prem systems
    • Positioned COS as a strong solution by sharing subject matter expertise and successful use cases
    • Leveraged deep technical expertise to respond to RFPs and provide clarity to sellers and customers
  • Created and maintained the Python Performance Modeling Utilities (PMU) SDK to supplement earlier work on the Performance Modeling Tool
    • PMU is used in Jupyter notebooks and automation to analyze logs from real-world customer systems to determine their performance entitlement headroom
    • PMU is also used to model the IBM COS system in the IBM Public Cloud. Modeling enables the proactive configuration and expansion of the largest COS system in the world.
    • PMU’s log parsing performance was substantially improved by around 66% by implementing computationally expensive routines in C and linking to them with Python code
