? Responsible for Software Quality assurance activities for all engine programs (commercial and NPI) in GE
AVIATION Engines as required by FAA /EASA (DO-178 rev C/ D).
o Ten engine programs, 300 engineers/ team. Software Class A (Catastrophic consequences if SW
fails).
o Waterfall methodology, participated trough the "V "Software Development and testing life cycle.
From allocation of system requirements through system testing, activities included:
? Creation of LOI and BOE (estimate of cost and level of involvement for projects.
? Planning documentation review/creation (PSAC, SVCP, SDP, QAP, SCMP, etc.).
? Configuration Management, Support environment, Formal testing, Engineering
design review, requirements traceability, project completion, defect management
and Problem Reports Audits.
? Conformance of test stations.
? Participation in engineering design reviews.
? Verification for embedded control systems for airborne control systems of
commercial and military aircraft programs.
? White-box unit-level test design to achieve 100% Modified Condition/Decision Coverage.
? Participation and attendance to regulatory meetings (Stage of Involvement meetings 1 to 4).
? Responsible for Quality assurance activities for Navigation & Guidance team in GE DIGITAL required by
FAA /EASA.
o Two main programs, 150 engineer team. Software Class B.
o Agile methodology, same activities for GE AVIATION Engines.
? AS9100 Lead coordinator for GE Digital:
o Prepare/update quality management system for GEIQ re certification (AS9100).
? Schedule training for AS9100 rev D (update to the norm) for Quality management
representatives.
? Update procedures, work instructions, turtle diagrams to be in line with norm.
? Organize internal audits in preparation for formal audit.
? Create QMR (estimate of cost for quality activities)
