Senior Project Manager

Responsible for commercial and technology projects in the IoT and Messaging RCS areas, as well in Virtualization, OSS, Data and Voice Core areas, mostly by virtualizing existent platforms using private and public clouds across several Data Centres in Europe, with a team of Project Consultants and Vendors, geographically dispersed, on time and within budget, achieving great stakeholder satisfaction.

From the Initiative phase until the project Closure, my team is responsible to analyse the requirements, stakeholder’s engagement, internal and external, collect and negotiate costs with vendors, negotiate and secure the necessary budget from Management, track and report the progress of the projects passing through acceptance tests and all the Operational non-functional requirements, including security assessment and validation, pentests, until the formal handover to Operations.

Example of projects managed:

Digital Network Program – A 2 years Program with the objective to automatize the data collection from Big Data platforms and other sources like probes and OSS systems, in order to allow management to take wised business decisions based on actual and accurate data.

One Net Collaboration Hub – A 1 year project involving Cisco, Cellfocus and other vendors to deliver a cloud-based collaborative service to support landline, mobile and desktop communications – all in one system.

E/// OSS RC – Regional Integration – Project goal was to integrate Ericsson VF Group Network Nodes with the Regional OSS RC in VF Spain. This project involved managing 8 different stakeholders (mix of internal and external) while setting up the connectivity across 4 different DCs from Group and from VF SP. After a hard negotiation we saved over 1m€ Capex initial investment, and over 300K€ in Opex/year.
